April 23 – May 26
“I would call my work “Impressionist Landscapes”. I have spent my entire life in western outdoors, a lot of my work comes from references I collect while painting Plein Aire and wandering thru Colorado, Wyoming, southern Utah and Arizona. I am my happiest outside and painting.I spent the majority of my life as a graphic artist, illustrator, and children’s art teacher. I was an art director, for company that created Science Curriculum. So, it has been nice to transition away from a screen and on to a canvas.  So many skies, so many shadows, light changing by the minute….capturing a little of those moments, that is my challenge. ”
