DESCRIPTION:My Name is Lindsay Fox. I am delighted to share with you my newest painted series\, “The Full Moon Gallery” \nI was blessed to have my incredibly talented friend\, Tracy Scheffer of Blushing Cactus Photography\, agree to capture our evening of mischief. I find Tracys Photographs very inspiring and love that she lets me paint her work. \nOur night was full of dancing\, music\, laughter\, releasing the energies that no longer serve us\, and\, of course\, howling at the moon. \nIt always surprises me how much self-doubt and negative self-image we carry as women. How easily we can see the beauty in one another\, yet struggle to recognize it in ourselves. \nMy hope is that the women who joined me that night can look at these paintings and photographs and see what I saw—their beauty\, their freedom\, their strength\, and the little bit of wildness that lives inside each of them. \nMaybe we all need a night every now and then to dance under the full moon\, let go of what we’ve been carrying\, and remember just how beautiful we really are.

DESCRIPTION:Tracy has an eye for so many beautiful things\, and her photography inspires me in my own art every day. \nIn her photographs of flowers\, she somehow captures more than just what they look like. She captures their color\, their magnificence\, their softness\, and their utter beauty—the little details we might otherwise walk right past. \nThere is something about the way Tracy sees the world that makes you want to slow down and look a little closer. I feel incredibly lucky to call her my friend\, and even luckier to have her beautiful work continually inspire mine.
