The relationship between Navajo culture and Dine’ world view is explored as is the historical influence of anglo traders in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. \nDoors open at 6:30pm. The presentation starts at 7:00pm. \n*The event is free\, but space is limited\, and registration is required. Exploring Pop Art and Dadaism\, the show is curated by Clementine Giordano and runs through September 20. “While pop art and Dadaism explored some of the same subjects\, pop art replaced the satirical and anarchic impulses of the Dada movement with a detached affirmation of the artifacts of mass culture\,” Cloud Oakes\, Director\, explained.
