“Call and Response” online exhibition by Lauren Harvey
“My origins and those of my acrylic paintings lie with the abstract expressionists. I strive towards compositional quality, finding layers and light, and adding depth to my work. Painting challenges my ability to see and discover the essence of a work. It is an intuitive process. I feel successful when the space between viewer and painting narrows, opening a door to curiosity and exploration.” —Lauren Harvey
