Prescott is home to scores of artists who continuously find inspiration amidst the cool mountainous forests.

Their art, along with works by nationally acclaimed artists can be found in a variety of gallery venues located in and around Prescott’s historic downtown courthouse plaza where the beautifully preserved and functioning historic buildings provide testimony to Prescott’s past and present.

Since its beginning in 2004, Prescott’s 4th Friday Art Walk is the night to get out and experience Prescott’s visual arts scene. Every month features signature events and exhibits produced by the galleries.

The galleries are open during their regular business hours and the evening events begin at 5:00 PM. Gallery guides can be picked up at any of the participating gallery locations, hotel brochure racks, and the Prescott Chamber of Commerce.

1. YAVAPAI COLLEGE ART GALLERY

6. ‘TIS ART CENTER AND GALLERY

Featuring two galleries of contemporary art inside the beautifully restored 1893 Tis Building. Unlike conventional art galleries, the non-profit ‘Tis galleries feature affordable fine art paintings, photography and sculpture displayed in museum-style fashion.
