THREADS, TIMBER AND TONES

NOVEMBER 14, 2025 – JANUARY 13, 2026
Threads, Timber, and Tones: Honoring the Past, Present, and Future Through Fabric, Wood, and Paint brings together four distinct artists—Linda Scott, Sherri Curtis, Mary Kaye O’Neill, and Dennis Peterson—who each explore the beauty of materials and the stories they hold.
Sherri Curtis reimagines silk, leather, and wool into wearable art that honors the richness of past fabrics. Linda Scottdelves into the symbolic and archetypal, creating prints and accessories inspired by global traditions and the images that connect us across cultures. Painter and designer Mary Kaye O’Neill infuses her hand-painted silks and wall art with color, texture, and rhythm—each piece a poetic conversation between the natural world and her creative spirit. Completing the collection, Dennis Peterson, a master woodworker and Yavapai College instructor, crafts furniture and fine boxes that blend precision with the organic beauty of exotic woods.
Together, these artists invite viewers to experience the tactile and timeless dialogue between threads, timber, and tones—a reflection of artistry that bridges memory, material, and meaning.
