Operation Exhibit

Operation!  Remember that childhood game?  We’ve come up with an adult version!  Come explore the relationship between our emotions and our organs  in an exhibit that utilizes painting, sculpture, animation and audience participation to create a truly responsive environment.  Visitors will be encouraged to remove and rearrange life-like and artistic organs from sculptures of the human body to provoke contemplation about the link between our feelings and our physiology.  The installation will utilize cutting edge computer vision technology to trigger projected media when organs are placed in certain locations in the body or around the space.  The exhibit is created by artists Carole Jolly and Zoe McCarthy, and opens at the Art Hive on July 25th.
